Mud deflectors are easy to mount, and their colour can be customized to match the cabin, maintaining a cohesive style. Meanwhile, the practical, aerodynamically designed mudguards, coated with a splash-restricting layer, are lightweight, resistant to chemical substances, and effective even in freezing temperatures (-40 °C).

Comfort and functionality of the cabin

Among other exterior accessories, protective grilles and mesh for lights stand out. The mesh protection extends the lifespan of the lights, reducing the need for repairs. This type of protection is particularly suitable for off-road work and challenging road conditions. Roof bars attached at the front, middle, and rear, made of extruded aluminium, provide flexible options for accessory attachment. These bars are designed to withstand loads of up to 10 kg (in front) or 8 kg (in the middle and rear). Attachments such as warning beacons and hazard lights can be installed on the bars, serving as crucial auxiliary elements to enhance the visibility of the truck on the road.

When considering interior accessories for the cabin, drivers have numerous options to choose from, taking into account personal needs and desired levels of comfort. Electronic and communication systems can be supplemented with various software, video cameras, speakers, or alarm devices. Of course, it is essential not to overlook safety measures such as fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, air filters, a first aid kit, and similar essentials.

To create a homely atmosphere within the cabin, Volvo offers a range of comfort-enhancing devices. Various convenience accessories can brighten up the driver’s journey and daily life in the cabin – options include installing a television set, an additional refrigerator, a microwave oven, or a coffee maker, along with a lockable safe compartment. To ensure the longevity of original materials and parts, consider seat covers, textile (see Figure 2) or rubber floor mats, and for added comfort during the journey – cabin curtains (see Figure 3), sunshades for windows (see Figure 4), or a bed with adjustable support.
